If you have filled and submitted your registration for SSC LDC, then you will be asked to attend written test. This exam/written test is conducted in a large scale. That is the reason, you need a hall ticket/admit card for attending the written test. You can easily go about downloading this Admit card from SSC official website with out any hassles. In addition, SSC regional portals are available to to download the Admit card.
Following information are needed to download the admit card through online and they are name, date of birth and registration ID. After you download the admit card, it is important to keep it safely and bring it to the examination hall. Without this admit card, you will not be allowed to attend the exam.
Examination Pattern, syllabus and timing:
Be careful while attending the written test for SSC LDC as there will be negative markings. For each incorrect answer, you would be reduced with 0.25 marks. So, it is better to answer the questions for which you know the answer correctly. The exam is conducted for 200 marks and is divided as four parts as General Knowledge, English, Quantitative aptitude and General awareness.
The examination timing is according to the batch in which you are asked to attend so carefully check the timings to avoid any last minute problems.
The candidates who successfully clear the first level written test are asked to take up the skill test. For SSC LDC, following skills are tested at the allotted 10 minutes time.
1) The candidates are asked to take up English typing and is expected to type a minimum of 35 words per minute on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
2) Hindhi typing is expected for 30 words per minute on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
The candidates who are asked to attend the skill test are required to carry few documents with them and they are
1) Matriculation or any equivalent certificate for date of birth proof.
2) Caste certificate needs to be submitted by SC/ST/OBC/ExS/PH/CGCE candidates.
3) Two recent passport size photographs.

To successfully pass the written test of SSC LDC, you need to start preparing well in advance. Also knowing the detailed syllabus will help you to plan effectively as it is waste of time if you prepare for those topics that are not included in the syllabus. You can expect these examinations to be very tough, due to the heavy competition happening for few available seats.
